SWIFTTRANS is featured in the new “Investitionsführer Kasachstan 2026” — a practical handbook for German companies entering the markets of Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
The guide is produced jointly by the German Economic Delegation in Central Asia (AHK Zentralasien), Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) and the international consultancy RÖDL, with support from Kazakhstan Invest. Aimed at investors, it covers the country’s economic outlook, key industries and business practice — from corporate and tax law to logistics.
Why it matters
Logistics is one of the guide’s central themes. Kazakhstan is increasingly acting as the link between Europe and Asia, and the Middle Corridor (Trans-Caspian International Transport Route) is becoming a real alternative to the northern route through Russia and the sea route through the Suez Canal. Freight volumes along this corridor have grown several-fold in recent years, accompanied by large-scale investment in ports, railways and terminals.
These are exactly the routes SWIFTTRANS operates on, which makes the company’s presence in a publication read by prospective European partners and investors both logical and significant.
